A perennially popular post-work/pre-train pint destination, the inside rooms and the impressive curve of tables regularly become mobbed at peak times.
Alongside a decent selection of ales on tap, and craft brews by can, including big boys like Meantime, Camden and Brewdog, they’re big on patties, served from the theatrical Burger Craft open kitchen. And the menu contains decadent creations such as one littered with roast scotch bonnet, red chillies and sriracha. Phew.
Better still, if you’re into trivia, head down on a Tuesday for their super-popular Pub Quiz. It’s always fun (and definitely very competitive) with different themes covering TV, film, music and other boffin-friendly subjects. All proceeds go to charity, too, with a £30 bar tab for winners.
