Drummond Street Day is here

Euston’s family-friendly annual day of streetfood, workshops and dancing returns in August

We love this vibrant thoroughfare just west of Euston station, and have naturally written about its delights on many an occasion (read our guide to the street here, or its history here).

For this year’s rather joyous annual festie, local traders will again be serving up delish specialities, including the likes of longstanding Diwana, Harish’s Spice Shop, Ravi Shankar, African Kitchen, Chutney’s and Falafel Café. Yum.

Meanwhile, neighbours Camden People’s Theatre are curating an exciting programme of performances and creative activities on the street.

There’ll also be Bollywood dancing, a B-Better dance group workshop, face-painting, cupcake decorating, story-telling and Sari workshops. There’s even an appearance from top magician (and member of the Magic Circle) Jake Banfield (read our recent interview with him here).

And if you fancy a sunny pint with it, our tips are the Exmouth Arms, the Crown & Anchor, and the hidden-away Square Tavern, all of which have outside terraces to watch the action.
