oused in an old station building, the Euston Tap is arguably the area’s most famous bar, and this awesome daddy of craft beer joints, open for nearly a decade, routinely chalks up around 20 draft beers on keg and another half dozen on cask.
Our tip? Get there before 6pm if you want to nab a stool – best spot is by the window on the left as you enter, with lively people-watching over Euston Square Gardens and the busy thoroughfare beyond.
The outside terrace is surprisingly spacious too, with an enclosed, covered area as well as high stools and tables dotted about the pavement. Oh, and the crowd is more Londoner than daytripper, so it feels like a neighbourhood bar rather than station pub.

Euston Tap is open daily 12-11pm at 190 Euston Rd NW1, more info here. Want to go on a pub crawl round Euston? Read our guide here.
